Oopbuy Art is a guide to the quiet end of the agent spreadsheet: outerwear, knitwear and designer-styled clothing. The pieces on this site are the ones where the garment has to justify itself on cut and material rather than on a graphic, which makes them both more interesting to write about and harder to buy well.
Our approach is to treat every listing as a garment first. Before asking what label it claims, we ask what it is made of, how it is cut, where the seams are finished and what it will look like after two winters. A padded jacket with good baffles and a matte shell is worth owning regardless of what is printed on the label, and a jacket with neither is not.
We do not sell, ship, authenticate or inspect on your behalf. Everything here is written to help you read a listing and a set of warehouse photos more carefully. Where a number could change — a price, a fabric, a fill weight — we say so and tell you to verify it.
